GIRLS’ BASKETBALL 🏀
With a 20-point road win against Loch Raven, the Generals have jumped the Panthers for the top spot in the county. Pikesville and Milford Mill are both close behind at 4-0, but each team will stay fresh with tournament games throughout winter break. Tournament coverage will be released next week.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL 🏀
Eastern Tech remains at the top of the county while Dulaney, Hereford, Catonsville, and Kenwood all trail by just a game. The Mavericks have a game scheduled on Friday, January 9 against the Bluebirds, while the Bulls are set to face the Comets on the 21st. Early into the season, January appears to be packed with intense matchups!

WRESTLING 🤼
Since last week, only five BCPS teams competed, with three matches taking place on Monday. Dulaney took down Loch Raven 61-18, Owings Mills edged out Carver 42-30, and Catonsville fell to Harford County’s C. Milton Wright with a 63-17 final. Despite the loss, the Comets remain at the top of the league standings, with an undefeated record in county matches.

CHEERLEADING 📣
Next week, we will publish CSZ’s preseason power rankings before the Winter Cheerleading season kicks off on January 10 with invitational tournaments at Hereford and C. Milton Wright High Schools!
