BOYS LACROSSE 🥍

BCPS sent one team to the Boys Lacrosse state championships, as Towson made yet another appearance in the sport’s biggest game. While the Generals made it the farthest, they were not the only team from the county to make a run into the state bracket. GIRLS LACROSSE 🥍

Perry Hall’s state quarterfinals upset win made them the only team from Baltimore County to make it out of the first round of the state girls’ lacrosse playoff bracket. While they did make it the farthest, there were a couple of other teams that reached the quarterfinals, and even more that made it to the regional championship. SOFTBALL 🥎

Dulaney and Towson, the two teams who competed in the BCPS county championship, proved to be the two teams to make it farther than any other from Baltimore County in the state playoffs. They were joined by Sparrows Point as the only three to reach the state bracket, but there were several more close behind that were eliminated in the county championships. BASEBALL ⚾

You might remember from last week that Baltimore County crowned it’s first baseball state champion since 2007 as Hereford defeated Kent Island to win the 2A crown. They were not the only team from BCPS to reach the big game, and certainly not the only ones to advance into the state bracket, bringing home a regional championship.
