GIRLS’ SOCCER ⚽

Following a 1-0 underdog win against the two-seed Leonardtown Raiders, the Perry Hall Gators are on their way to UMBC, where they will take on the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Battlin' Barons in the 4A State Championship on Saturday! Towson High took on the top-seeded Severna Park Falcons in the semifinals, falling 1-0. We wish Perry Hall the best of luck in their conquest to win a state championship! FIELD HOCKEY 🏑

In their state semifinals matchup, Towson faced off against the two-seed, the Westminster Owls. Towson kept Westminster off the board in the first quarter, but the Owls scored their first goal early in the second and never looked back. In the state championship, Westminster fell to the top-seeded Linganore Lancers 4-3. Congratulations to Towson for their deep playoff run. BOYS’ SOCCER ⚽

Following a dominant win over the Crossland Cavaliers, the four-seeded Hereford Bulls took on the one-seed, the Glenelg Gladiators, in the state semifinals. The Gladiators quickly took control of the game, scoring two goals within the first six minutes, and never looking back, defeating Hereford 3-0. Despite the result, Hereford head coach Adam Mizell is “very proud of our Bulls and the season they put together with such a young roster.” We look forward to seeing what the Bulls can achieve in 2026. CHEERLEADING 📣

On Saturday, Sparrows Point and Parkville High Schools traveled to Harford Community College to compete in the state championship cheerleading competition! In the end, the Pointers tied for 2nd in the 1A classification while the Knights placed 5th in the 4A class! Congratulations to both teams for reaching the state championship! Information for the state competition can be found both on CSZ and on the MPSSC Website!

VOLLEYBALL 🏐

Three Baltimore County teams brought a volleyball regional championship home last week! Hereford defeated Lansdowne, Eastern Tech upset Fallston, and Dulaney took down Perry Hall! Congratulations to each team on an impressive postseason run. Information for the state semifinals can be found here on CSZ!

FOOTBALL 🏈

After one round of play, ten Baltimore County teams are alive going into the football regional championships! Two games will feature two teams from the county, as New Town is set to rematch Milford Mill on the road and Perry Hall will host Dulaney in their second match of the season. The second round will be taking place between Thursday and Saturday of this week, with games being played at the school with the higher seed. Playoff brackets are currently available, and can be seen here on CSZ!
