BOYS’ BASKETBALL 🏀
On January 21, Perry Hall junior Nazir Anderson reached the illustrious 1,000 point mark in the Gators’ road win over Dundalk. Click the link below to learn more about Anderson’s season and the Perry Hall team as a whole!
With just three weeks left in the season, and after no changes with last week’s snow, Dulaney and Overlea remain at the top of the standings with each having double-digit wins. Dulaney has an extremely tough schedule this week, with road games against both Catonsville and Hereford, while the Falcons will have difficult home games against Eastern Tech and Perry Hall.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL 🏀
While the standings remain the same after the snowstorm, there are several storylines to keep an eye on surround both sides of the standings. With the county getting back in action both Monday and Tuesday, Milford Mill hosting Riverdale Baptist takes the cake as the top game of the early part of this week. CHEERLEADING 📣
The Baltimore County cheerleading competition was originally scheduled to take place at New Town High School last Thursday, but the snowstorm postponed it. The competition is now slated to take place this Thursday, February 5. MPSSC will be hosting the east regional competition at Howard Community College on February 10, while the west will compete the next evening. CSZ will be providing score updates as they are released!

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD 🏃
Throughout the next few days, Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex will host various indoor track and field regional competitions. Competitions kicked off on Saturday with the 1A West and 3A West regionals. The next competition is set for tomorrow, with the 2A East and 4A West competitions, while the regional round will wrap up on Friday with the 1A East and 4A Central. Next week will feature a highlight of everything you need to know from how BCPS performed. Stay tuned!
